The Times
of India, Chennai (Sep.5, 2014), quoting Union Health and Family Welfare
Ministry, reports that a whopping 42,89,759 people have died of cancer since
2011. Of this, the share of Tamilnadu,
2,49,744; Andhra 3,05,172; Karnataka
2,16,791 and Kerala, 1,19,789.
