Here's a simple Daily Dozen inspired breakfast bowl- as seen in our Evidence-Based Eating Guide.
Combine 1/2-1 cup cooked oats with 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed and 1 tablespoon of unsalted nut or seed butter (of your choice). Add water as needed for thinning. Top with fresh or frozen berries and a banana. *Feel free to mix and match with what you have. If you don't have berries or bananas, feel free to add other fresh, frozen, or even dried fruit you do have. Serving suggestions are for 1.
