How does music as sound and vibration impact your body and brain? Dr. Lee Bartel explores how sound can stimulate cells in your body and brain to reduce the impact of Fibromyalgia pain, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Depression, and even increase blood flow. It shows how a common consumer  vibroacoustic device is used to treat these health conditions.  Lee Bartel is Professor Emeritus of Music and Health and Music Education and at the University of Toronto and Member of the Board and Chair of the Research and Education Committee for the Artists’ Health Alliance. He served as Faculty of Music Associate Dean of Research, and was the Founding Director of the Music and Health Research Collaboratory (MaHRC) at University of Toronto from 2011 - 2015.

 

He is a Member of the Collaborative Program in Neuroscience, Cross-appointed to Institute for Life Course and Aging, as well as the Graduate Department of Rehabilitation Science. He taught graduate courses on Music and Brain as well as Social Psychology of Music. With extensive early experience as a music teacher at all levels and as a performing choral conductor, singer, violinist, and guitarist, he has special interest in conditions of learning, pedagogic culture, social psychology, and music in human development. - These exercises improve all aspects of your visual perception. It is suitable for both nearsightedness and farsightedness.

- This workout helps to relax your eye muscles and increases blood circulation in your eyes.

 

Keep performing these ten exercises regularly, and you will see great results within a week! To achieve the best result, you need to monitor your health as well. According to experts, good eyesight depends on your diet. Remember that the most useful food is natural food with minimal heat treatment as it keeps the greatest amount of vitamins.

VITAMIN B12 : CRITICAL FOR ANYONE EATING A PKANT-BASED DIET

Vitamin B12 is not made by plants or animals, but by microbes that blanket the earth. In today’s sanitized, modern world, the water supply is commonly chlorinated to kill off any bacteria. So, while we don’t get much B12 in the water anymore, we don’t get much cholera, either, which is a good thing!

A regular, reliable source of vitamin B12 is critical for anyone eating a plant-based diet. Though deficiency for those starting out with adequate stores may take years to develop, the results of B12 deficiency can be devastating, with cases reported of paralysis, psychosis, blindness, and even death.

Dr. Greger has updated his recommendation for B12 supplementation, now suggesting at least 2,000 mcg (µg) cyanocobalamin once each week, ideally as a chewable, sublingual, or liquid supplement taken on an empty stomach, or at least 50 mcg daily of supplemental cyanocobalamin. (You needn’t worry about taking too much.) You can also do servings of B12-fortified foods three times a day (at each meal), each containing at least 190 percent of the Daily Value listed on the nutrition facts label. (Based on the new labeling mandated to start January 1, 2020, the target is 4.5 mcg three times a day.) Note that those over age 65 essentially have only one option: taking 1,000 mcg a day.
