STEM CELL INJECTION MAY CURE
BLINDNESS
London: A long running medical trial
has found stem cells injected into the eyes of blind patients can cure them
with no side effects. The pioneering
study published in Lancet was proved safe after patients injected with stem
cells derived from human embryos were monitored over three years.
