Health News-35: India tops world’s missed TB cases list



India tops world’s missed TB cases list reports The Times of India.  According to WHO report, 24% undiagnosed or unreported patients are from India.  In 2013, 1,36,000 cases of Multi-Drug Resistant-TB were detected globally.  For details, The Times of India, Chennai, Times Nation Section, Oct.24, 2014 page number 9.

At page number 13 of the same issue, citing a Chart by The Guardian (A Measure of Deadliness), it is said that TB is both quite contagious and very deadly and thus more to be feared than EBOLA.
